TRON: Ares—Bad Movie, Good Music

… or, at least, I’ve been told TRON: Ares is pretty terrible. I haven’t dared watch it (I loved the original TRON as a kid), but maybe I’ll still get to it one of these days to see for myself.

But that is beside the point: the soundtrack for the movie is by Nine Inch Nails, and I like it a lot. It gives you the feeling of a dark, digital world, and is very good music to code to. The just-released TRON Ares: Divergence is a fine remix with added techno vibes.

(I also loved Daft Punk’s soundtrack for TRON: Legacy. Seems the keepers of the franchise are better at hiring great musicians for the score than making the actual movies.)
